My Boyfriend Left Me For His Ex

At my birthday party, Howard's first love showed up uninvited. She deliberately knocked over my castle cake, then feigned innocence, saying, "I'm so sorry. Let me get you another one!" "My girlfriend’s birthday cake was crafted by the head pastry chef of Le Cordon Bleu, worth a hundred thousand dollars," Howard replied coldly, demanding compensation. I thought the drama of old love losing to new had finally begun. Yet, when a van came speeding towards us, Howard pushed me aside and threw himself in front of his first love to protect her. In that moment, I finally understood—I was the loser.
