Luna’s Servant, Alpha's Obsession

In Alpha King Kane’s Pack, there was an open secret. He had no interest in the mate chosen for him by the Moon Goddess, the noble and beautiful she-wolf Seraphina. To “discipline” her—and to vent his own restless frustration—he issued a notice in the Omega quarter known as Shadowmoon: “Recruiting a personal servant for my Luna. Responsible for all her daily needs and for bearing all her temper. Monthly pay: one vial of Alpha’s blood.” The announcement drew countless low-rank Omegas, all desperate for the Alpha’s blood said to heal any wound. When it was my turn, Kane’s gaze fell on me, sharp with scrutiny and disdain. "Remember your place. Don’t harbor any foolish thoughts about me." I agreed. For the sake of saving my ailing human foster mother, I was willing to give up everything. But later, on the day of my mate-bonding ceremony with another, he shattered every barrier and cornered me in the Moon Goddess’s temple. His eyes burned red as he demanded, word by word, "Is his pack stronger than mine? Is his bloodline nobler than mine? Is he the only one you want to be with?"
