Rejected in Public, I Married My Ex-Boyfriend’s Alpha Uncle

I’ve been with the Silver Moon pack for two years, and everyone knows I’m destined to be Alpha Justin’s mate. Even he’s accepted it—once his fragile first love, Cathy, recovers, he’s all set to hold the mate ceremony with me. Today, he showed up with Cathy, who just got back from her treatment outside the pack. He stood there, holding a huge bouquet of roses and told me he was finally ready to fulfill the promise he made to me during our wolf-soul awakening ceremony. He wants to complete the marking with me at next month’s full moon festival. I raised my left hand, the moonstone ring that Justin’s uncle Terrence gave me glinting on my ring finger. I watched as his face froze in shock, and I said coolly, “By pack standards, you should be calling me ‘Auntie’ now.”
