For 8 Years My Alpha Used My Bones as Medicine to Save His Lover

Everyone thought that Alpha Arthur was madly in love with me, the disabled Omega. Eight years ago, I was bitten by a rogue wolf, shattering my spine and robbing me of my ability to transform. Despite the elders' objections, he took it upon himself to use his powerful energy to heal me daily, even swearing to marry me on the upcoming full moon. "My poor thing, not only will I make sure you survive, but I’ll also make you the happiest woman in the entire pack," he’d say. I really believed him, until that fateful afternoon when I died in the trials. What he didn’t know was that just before the so-called "death" took place, I had awakened an extremely rare ability: mind reading. I hadn’t been accidentally caught by a rogue wolf; everything that happened back then was his design. He used eight years of his energy to nurture me, not out of love, but because his lover needed a “perfect wolf body soaked in power” as a catalyst for healing. I left behind a parchment soaked in deadly poison from wintergreen. “Arthur, I added a bit of my rotting bone marrow to the potion you made for her. Wishing you a happy marriage.”
