When the Alpha Cast Me Out as a Traitor, I Fell Into the Frozen River

When my mate, Jack, threw the Mate Bond dissolution papers in my face before the entire Pack, his new lover, Ivy West, was hanging on his arm with a smile. "I, Jack Ryan, reject you, Zoe Page, as my mate. The daughter of a traitor is unworthy of becoming Luna of the Silvermoon Pack." His men dragged me away and exiled me to the northern frontier. The prison wagon plunged into a frozen river, and the wolfsbane they forced down my throat drove even my wolf, Nora, into a deep sleep. Three years later, the two Packs agreed to a truce, and Jack led a delegation into Blackthorn territory to negotiate peace. The moment he looked up inside the council chamber, his breathing stopped. I sat in the seat of honor, one hand resting on the armistice agreement. "Alpha Jack. It’s been a long time." Behind him, Ivy’s face turned deathly pale. Beside me, Alpha Marc Durand raised his eyes lazily. "Keep staring at my Luna, and I’ll tear your throat out right here."
