Werewolf Alpha I Rejected My Cheating Fated Mate

The Family Swap Meet at Pack Cub Academy had just ended when my niece, who was staying at my apartment, burst through the door clutching her haul and declaring that she had found a treasure. I had barely finished praising her eye for bargains when I noticed a property deed someone had sold to her as if it were an ordinary journal. I glanced at it casually. My breath stopped. It was the deed to the home my mate Jason and I had chosen together—Riverfront Lofts, Unit 17A. But the woman registered to live there under mate authorization was Bella Hart. I took a picture and sent it to Alpha Jason. "Bella who?" His reply came almost instantly, as though he had rehearsed it. "My new secretary. She’s a single mother, and a Rogue has been targeting her. I’m only helping." Helping her by giving away my future home? I smiled. Since he was so determined to play the savior, I would give him a gift of my own at tomorrow night’s Pack banquet before our marking ceremony. A public rejection.
