The Fat Bride’s Mafia Identity

At the Christmas Eve banquet, my fiancé, Arthur, used me as collateral to a notoriously brutal mob boss—all so he could get his hands on the family trust. In the town council group chat, he posted photos of me being used as a human blood bag, tubes draining blood from my body, nearly three hundred pounds and barely alive. The entire town council celebrated. "Bet that pig's blood smells as rotten as she does!" "I'll bet she doesn't survive the mob boss's first whipping." Arthur put down a hundred thousand dollars betting that I would sign away my inheritance before the night was over. What none of them knew was that during the year I'd been away from town, I'd lost the weight. I was down to one hundred and ten pounds. And what absolutely no one knew was that the mob boss who terrified the entire country... was my biological father. I picked up the forged will and chambered a round. Then, smiling, I replied in the group chat: "Game on." "Tonight, this ends with one side dead."
