My Family Replaced Me, So I Married the Mafia Heir in a Coma

A month before my wedding, I found out I was pregnant. I was practically glowing as I got ready to tell my fiance, Arthur Gambino, when I noticed a group chat on his phone titled "Odette's Replacement Bride Plan." My parents, my siblings, my best friend, and Arthur were all in it. Everyone was in it except me. My mother wrote, "Drug Odette on the wedding day and let Ivy marry Arthur." My father agreed. "That way, the Vito family will have no choice but to accept Odette as their bride, and Ivy won't have to marry that man who had been in a coma for years." My sister pleaded, "I guess Odette will have to make the sacrifice for the family." My best friend tried to reassure her. "Odette will only be happy if you are." Then my fiance, the father of my child, sent four words: "I have no objection." The man they wanted me to marry was Luca Vito, heir to Sicily's most feared mafia family, a man who had been in a coma for years. I left the group chat and scheduled an abortion. I married him anyway, exactly as they wanted. So why were they the ones who regretted it?
